Anymore 4 Anymore
Anymore4Anymore (A4A) began as a passion project for Peter Earle, a ‘strumming guitarist’ who had played covers for many years, occasionally solo, but mainly gigging with others.
Peter finally found time during lockdown to write the songs that had been forming in his mind and initially worked with experienced vocal coach Sarah Geary to develop vocals and melody lines in his songs.
Peter was recommended to approach renowned producer, Niall Squire of Cobham Sound Studios to record with him. Niall’s recording credits include, amongst others, the late John Lodge of the Moody Blues and Crowded House.
During an intense period working together, Niall and Peter recorded over 20 songs under the Anymore4Anymore (A4A) title. Working with a number of highly talented musicians, Peter and Niall crafted a unique, eclectic suite of songs which are melodically beautiful, lyrically poignant and rhythmically challenging.
The first selection of songs were released on A4A’s highly acclaimed ‘They Always Walk With Me ‘ album. The much anticipated second album from those sessions, ‘Kindness Of Strangers’, will be released in Spring 2026.
Why "Anymore4Anymore"? Well, this is a nod in the direction of one of Peter’s musical heroes, Ronnie Lane, who chose this as the title of his first solo album after leaving iconic rock band The Faces.
Peter is pictured here outside Abbey Road studios with another of his music heroes and at the premiere of the film of David Bowie’s final gig as Ziggy Stardust which marked the 50th anniversary of that performance. Peter was lucky enough to have been there that very warm evening in 1973!
Niall has recently moved back to his roots in Dorset and Peter has been working with him at his Lyme Bay studio in Bridport. Together, they are working on another suite of songs which will be on general release in Autumn 2026.
